The Role of Education in Climate Change
Education is crucial in mitigating the impacts of climate change. It helps to understand and manage/mitigate the effects of the climate crisis, empowering individuals with the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes necessary to be active participants in change and reduce negative impacts.

Project Objective
The project’s objective is to develop strategies to enable students in the Estonian education system to become climate-aware individuals.

Analysis and Measurement
For this purpose, students’ current knowledge, skills, and attitudes regarding understanding climate change, mitigating its effects, and adapting to it are analyzed and measured. Existing educational materials and strategies are also analyzed.

Teacher Training
The focus is on training teachers from all educational levels and subjects regarding both specialized and general skills, with climate awareness in mind.

Creation of New Educational Materials
